Things get rolling, more than usual.

Well then, hello friends of the Internet, i am silent winja, or Woody if were not playing games. But then again it's not often that we're not playing games now is it. That's  precisely why we have decided to begin our tour of the blog o' sphere. First of all i need to explain some things; 7 of us with a guest or two on most nights live in one very fun, very violent house. All of us collect and play video games of various styles and systems, from NES - PC (maybe Linux now a days, who know with David) and everything in between. We all play games, and play them differently so when we take to discussion it is usually heated and opinionated, but light hearted and friendly. With the games comes the other fun little hobby's of me and my house-mates, from comics, to modding, to beer, to Sci-Fi and... well I'm sure you see where I'm going with this so i going to stop talking about what all we do, and I'll start talking about what we have been doing .
OK so i have recently started a D&D fourth ed. campaign, in which i play the role of DM, and keep in mind I'm not a great DM. i wouldn't even say a good DM, but we always seem to have fun and that's what mattered to us. This time around it is myself as the DM, David as the minotaur warden Tal (defender) with a love for combat and mules, Tom (another of our roomates) as the female dwarven bard Eldeth Anvilheart (leader) with a short temper and a long beard, Chris(a friend through nerddom) is playing the petiete halfling rogue  (striker) named Abcdefghijklmnop Qrstuvwxyz (Abba cuh def guh hij klum uh nop kuwerst of wicks is) , our final character is played by desalora (Rory (coworker)) he is playing an Eledrin Cosmic Sorcerer (striker), with knowledge of the doom in the cosmos (or so he would have you think).
So far things have been rolling smoothly in this campaign. the only rules situation we have rely encounterd was through lack of knowlage on both of our parts, By the way you can move your ally 1 square as a standard action. We have been recording them all and they sound quite good. We should be uploading them soonish (if i ever finish editing them *sigh*), if you ever want, to do a D&D podcast with your friends take this tip of advice from me, don't make the DM do the editing. He then has to spend too much time working on D&D stuff not at the table, editing setting up encounters and treasure woo work load!
At the table last Tue. I was trying to explain the stone pillars at the edge of a building, they were as big as a large creature and they wrapped around the corners (think of a chess rook), So after a moment i give up and decide to just use some stone floor tiles on our chessex battle mat, worked great then... End of session ends everyone packs up and heads out, David, Tom, and I sat in the living room discussing the evenings session as we do every week, and as we talk i mindlessly reach in to the clutter of our Coffey table and withdraw a 2in stone pillar intended for the support columns of a chess set, that is exactly the size of a large creature on our battle grid. The most bullshit part of all this is when i bought this chess set for David for Holiday gift exchange i knew i would want to use the pieces for D&D. I had even talked about using it the morning before. Well i guess it will just let me get a chance to re-use the tower piece.
Well then that's all i have to say for now. If I have anything important to say I'll try and say it on here but i don't promise anything, also check http://www.twitter.com/silentwinja I post on there probably too much. But one last thing check out all the cool new stuff for duke nukem: forever that got leaked, that is unless you think that it will still come out and remember cross your fingers here comes big brother Microsoft to save the day (i hope so).

duke vids and pics. (spoiler alert)

Live long and prosper, or don't your call i just want you to do your own thing.
